The pool was first opened in 1937 and has undergone various updates and improvements since. The last major facelift was in the 1980s, a new roof was fitted in the 90s and the pool has just reopened after a major renovation project. Work done has included, lengthening the pool to 25m, fully re tiling, new changing rooms, new heating system, and new boilers and filtration system. We now have a premier facility for use by our members.
